Community Voicemail

CVMCommunity Voicemail helps people living in poverty, transition and homelessness rebuild their lives by connecting them to jobs, housing, information and hope. This is accomplished by customizing and distributing communications technology via a network of community-based services. Callers hear only the voice of the client, just as if they had reached a home phone. This program increases the client's opportunity to move towards self-sufficiency by directly linking them to jobs, housing and information.

CVM works with partner agencies to distribute voice mail boxes to clients who are looking to be linked with jobs, housing, healthcare, social services, family/friends and who are looking for a secure way to flee domestic violence. Partner agencies are assigned a group of voice mail boxes for distribution to their clients. Each partner agency is responsible for determining which clients will benefit from a voice mail box based on the established criteria and the client's needs. The purpose and length of use for the voice mail box varies depending on the mission of the partner agency and the service plan objective of the client.

To be eligible, clients must be working with a Summit County partner agencies. The program is always free to the client. If someone attempts to charge for this service please contact the program.

Call (330) 315-1349 or visit www.cvmsummit.net for more information.
