IMPORTANT CHANGES FOR PROJECT CONNECT

After months of in depth analysis of our Project Connect service, Info Line’s leadership team has developed a new business model that will more effectively incorporate the dramatic changes that have taken place in the use of technology by community-based organizations over the past decade.

Beginning in January 2011, Project Connect will shift emphasis from providing direct technology assistance and services to facilitating the efforts of nonprofit organizations to identify, assess and secure affordable high quality technology services and products, technical assistance and support, and technology planning and consultation services.

Fittingly, this new emphasis will be accomplished through an advanced interactive online Project Connect website that will included the latest information and guidance on “Best Practices” for evaluating and selecting technology systems, equipment, applications and services as well as how to successfully negotiate and hire service vendors and consultants. The website will include a searchable vendor database to aid nonprofit decision makers in selecting technology services companies, consultants, system designers, and technology training vendors.

Jacquie Skrzypiec has been the face of Project Connect from its inception and many customers have come to trust and rely on her extensive knowledge, experience, skills and supportive nature over the years. We recognize that many customers may have concerns about their ongoing technology needs now that Jacquie will not be offering direct services, consultation and training as part of Project Connect. Actually, Jacquie will continue to offer these direct services as an independent vendor, and Info Line encourages Project Connect customers who wish to continue working with her to contact her directly at Jacq Connect (www.jacqconnect.us). Obviously, Jacquie will be listed in our new Project Connect website database of vendors. She will also continue to support our Project Connect efforts as a private vendor.

If you would like additional information about the changes we are making to our Project Connect program, please feel free to contact us at 330-329-2472. You can also keep up with the latest Project Connect news at www.pclivehelp.org.··

Sincerely,

Richard Stahl, President/CEO
