Landlord Benefits

Free Advertising and Pool of Tenants

Info Line offers a free online tool to list your available properties, Summithousingsearch.org. We work with lots of potential tenants and can refer them to you to fill your open units.

“Smart” Renters

Our case workers meet at least monthly with each client to discuss how they are doing and make any needed referrals to address additional challenges they are facing.  Each client attends a budgeting class and reviews their budget monthly with their case worker.

Security Deposits

Our organization aims to help individuals and families get back on their feet. We have found that many low income clients can afford the monthly rent, but have difficulty saving enough money for a security deposit.  We can assist with this one time security deposit payment

Rent Payment Assistance

By helping individuals and families get back on their feet, eligible clients can receive rent payment assistance for a limited time. This assistance allows them some time to stabilize and build an emergency fund for the  future.

Clients Receive Supportive Services

Some of our clients have special needs, but we work with our clients on an ongoing basis to make sure they have the support they need to succeed. We work with clients to correct past mistakes and prevent future problems, and through our network of partners, clients have access to an array of supportive services.

Problem Prevention Through Home Visits

Our case managers conduct home visits to ensure that clients stabilize in their new home.  Regular follow up with clients allows us to identify and address problems early before they become irreparable.

Mediation of Problems

Despite our best efforts, problems are sometimes inevitable. However, when problems arise, it can be reassuring to know that there is someone to call. We care as much about our landlords as we do our clients. The job of the case manager is to be a neutral party, ensuring that everyone is treated fairly and that the problems are resolved quickly and impartially.

Satisfaction in Helping Others

Everyone deserves a safe and affordable place to live. Some people make mistakes, but everyone deserves a second chance. You are playing a vital role to help individuals take charge of their lives, but also making your community a better place to live.
