Verizon Wants You to Apply for Free Training!

Free Foundation Directories
The GAR Foundation has given Project Connect a copy of the 1998 and 1999 Foundation Directories. They will go to the first two nonprofits who ask for them. So e-mail or call 330-315-1335.
Ending Chronic Homelessness Forum Summit County Housing Network and Second National Bank are sponsoring a community housing forum: Housing First: Speakers include Nikki Delgado of Corp. for Supportive Housing; Kathryn Kazol of EDEN, Inc.; and Chuck Ackerman of the Cleveland Housing Network. The University of Akron-Sociology Department is also presenting results of its recent research study on homelessness in the area. Registrations are required. Parking is free a continental breakfast will be served. Costs are $10 for Housing Network members and $15 for non-members. Each eligible organization can apply for training for 3 staff members per organization; 3 classes per application; 3 applications per year.
