    Are now available starting December 14, 2004

    The Bureau of Child Care and Development, in partnership with
    Ohio Community Development Finance Fund, is pleased to announce the availability of
    Ohio Quality Improvement Grants. The purpose of these grants is to enhance the quality of the physical environment and to promote school readiness.

    The Ohio Quality Improvement Grants are available to
        *   Professional certified family child care homes,
        *   Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) licensed full-time
            child care centers
        *   ODJFS licensed Type A homes.

    Full Conference Scholarships Available
    Deadline to submit:  January 15, 2004

    Ohio AEYC is pleased to announce the availability of full conference scholarships to support and promote the professional development of early childhood educators throughout Ohio.

    Research has shown that the education and professional preparation of early childhood teachers/caregivers makes a significant difference in the quality of care provide to our youngest children.

    The Ohio Head Start Collaboration Office has generously provided funding for 30 scholarships for teachers working in Head Start programs. Additional funding is pending for individuals working in child care and family child care settings. Preference is given to first-time conference attendees.

    Each scholarship covers:
    *  full conference registration (including the Professional Development Institute)
    *  Hotel accommodations (Thursday and Friday evening)
    *  a meal per diem for Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

    Preference will be given to first-time conference attendees. Participants are required to attend the Professional Development Institute and both days of the Conference.

    Application Deadline: January 15, 2005

Child Care Connection’s Training Policies

Payment Policy: 
Payment is due with registration form,
CCC no longer accepts phone registration. 

Replacement of Forms: 
Child Care Connection will charge a $3.00 fee per form for replacement or 
additional copies of,
In-Service Forms, CDA letters & CEU letters.  Replacement of transcripts are $10.00. 

Attendance Policy: 
Attendees need to arrive within 20 minutes of the start of a class session in order
to receive in-service, CDA or CEU credit. 

Attendees who arrive after the 20 minute grace period may stay for class session but will not receive in-service, CDA or CEU credit. 

IACET-CEU Policy:
IACET-CEU fee of $10.00 per class is non-refundable and
non-transferable. 

Child Care Connection reserves the right to review any special circumstances related to the refund policy. 

Payment must be submitted to Child Care Connection 
prior to forms being mailed.
