Info Line, Inc., is Summit County's information and referral service. Its central purpose is to provide access to human service delivery for people in need.
Since 1975, Info Line, Inc., has served as Summit County's 24-hour community information and referral service, answering 75,000 incoming calls annually to link people in need of services with the providers of such services.
The agency maintains a computerized resource directory of over 1,100 agencies and services for the Summit County area. It is the sole source for comprehensive information and referral, senior information and referral, and child care resource and referral services in Summit County.
Info Line is one of only two agencies in the state of Ohio fully accredited by the Alliance of Information and Referral Systems (the international professional organization for the field of information and referral) and employs ten Certified Information & Referral Specialists. This accreditation means that Info Line complies with all of the standards which have been developed for the provision of quality information and referral services.
Since it was incorporated as a private non-profit corporation by the State of Ohio in 1975, Info Line has been sensitive to the needs of the community. It has maintained a progressive stance in responding to an ever-increasing demand for service in a variety of human service areas:

Part of a state-wide network of referral agencies, Child Care Connection serves Summit, Medina, Portage, Stark, Trumbull, and Mahoning Counties. |
