Stay Warm this Winter – Walk-In Super Tuesday Evenings added to the Winter Crisis Program

The Emergency Home Energy Winter Crisis Program (E-HEAP) has added four Super Tuesday Walk-In Evenings on the 1st Tuesday of each month.

for households whose gas or electric is OFF, customers transferring utility service, and those with less than 25% supply of bulk fuel.

E-HEAP provides up to $175 in assistance once per heating season to income eligible households that are disconnected, threatened with disconnection, new service or if service is being transferred. Bulk fuel clients may be eligible for up to $750 to fill the tank if there is less than a 25% supply of bulk fuel.
Household must be at or below 175% of the federal poverty guideline to be eligible.

NEW THIS YEAR – If there is no income in the household, client must obtain “IRS Tax Transcript” or “Verification of Non-filing Letter” from the IRS by appointment only 1844-545-5640, in writing or online at www.irs.gov
